Love is in the air during National Library Lovers Month on February 1! This special month was created to recognize and celebrate the important role libraries play in our society. Libraries have been around for centuries, providing resources, knowledge, and entertainment to people from all walks of life - from entrepreneurs and students to families and children. So let's take a moment to appreciate everything libraries have done for us, and show them some love this February by visiting your local library or donating books!

Why National Library Lovers Month is Important
Libraries foster literacy

In addition to books, libraries also provide free internet access, e-books, audiobooks, online courses, magazines, study guides and more that can be accessed by anyone with a library card. This provides individuals with the opportunity to learn and further their education regardless of financial means.
Libraries create community
Most libraries are more than just places for borrowing books - they're also places for people to gather and share ideas, find mentors or experts from other fields, take classes or workshops, network or collaborate on projects. In this way, libraries help to create meaningful relationships, promote industry collaboration and build stronger communities.
